Scholar Leader Academy visits CVG

Badin High School’s Scholar Leader Academy (SLA) recently visited CVG Airport for a Career Focused Tour! The Scholar Leader Academy is an academic scholarship program designed to challenge and develop high-achieving students through opportunities that extend beyond the classroom. Throughout their time in SLA, students participate in leadership development, career exploration, service opportunities, educational experiences, and hands-on learning that help them discover their interests and prepare for their future. As part of their career exploration, our SLA students got an inside look at the many career opportunities at CVG. The group visited the Aircraft Mechanic School, Operations Department, and Airplane Maintenance, while also speaking with a variety of professionals about their careers and experiences. We’re grateful to CVG for giving our students a behind-the-scenes look at the aviation industry and helping them see the many possibilities that await them!
