Clubs & Organizations

A.M.E. – Mrs. Martinez

Asian Minority Empowerment (A.M.E.) strives to provide a community in which students can collaborate to learn more about various Asian cultures and aims to advocate for the equality of our students at Badin High School, providing a sense of unity.

Ambassadors – Mrs. Gray & Mrs. Agnew

The Badin Ambassadors is open for applicants from all grade levels. Ambassadors put Badin’s “Best Foot Forward” in various recruiting and hosting situations – Shadow Days, Open House, recruiting events, Grandparents Day, and More! These students are Badin’s student “public relations” representatives.

Archery – Mr. Oehler

Archery is the sport of shooting arrows at a target with a bow. It's a fun and safe activity open to all Badin students. Archery can help improve balance, coordination, agility, and mental strength.

Badin News Network – Mr. Browning

BNN is created for students interested in gaining experience in content creation, streaming, broadcasting, sports media, sports journalism, and podcasting through Badin Athletics. This is open to all students.

Badin Studio – Mrs. McDulin & Ms. Weldy

Badin Studio is open to students of all grade levels. Badin Studio is Badin’s art club and meets weekly after school to help students explore their artistic gifts and talents.

Badin Theatre – Mr. Stewart & Ms. Johnson

Badin Theatre is open to students of all grade levels. Badin Theatre is a co-curricular group which offers students the opportunity to explore their acting, stage crafting, writing and directing talents either in the classroom or after school or both! Students will participate in musicals, one-act plays and more.

Chess Club – Dr. Ben Paulus

Chess club is a social and competitive meeting place for students to come together through their love of chess. This is also a great opportunity for students to develop critical-thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in a setting outside of academics. Meetings take place every other Friday after school until 3:15 PM. Students can look forward to facing off against their classmates and learning new strategies to implement in future games. Players of all skill levels are welcome to learn and have fun!

Civic Day-JSA – Mr. Seitz

Civics Club is an after school organization open to all grade levels which focuses on discussion and debate of issues relating to civic discourse and politics. Their goal is to make controversial topics more understandable and accessible and promote understanding of different points of view. They engage in participation in the political process where possible, including elections and movements. The Club is also a chapter of the Junior State of America (JSA), a national organization which brings students together to practice debate, discussion, and political simulation. Their participation in the JSA includes trips to gatherings in Columbus and elsewhere.

Clay Busters – Mr. Chris Arnold

The Badin Clay Busters is open to students of all grade levels and incoming, registered 8th graders. The Clay Busters is Ohio’s first high school trapshooting team. The Badin Clay Busters is dedicated to teaching students responsible use of firearms and the importance of the second amendment. The Clay Busters season begins in March with safety training. The team competes from April through August ending with the team competing at the AIM Grand Nationals in Illinois. Please visit badinclaybusters.com for more information.

D.I.G. – Mrs. Halverson

D.I.G is our club about DIVERSITY, INCLUSION, and GROWTH. Our goal is to create a safe space to talk about issues of diversity, to bring people together, and to make Badin a better place for all minorities. Join us to dig a little deeper, to raise awareness, and to build community!

INTERalliance Chapter – Mr. Memory

Badin’s INTERalliance Chapter is open to students of all grade levels. The chapter works to expose students to various IT opportunities through chapter meetings, Tech Olympics, job shadows, company tours, summer IT career camps, internships and IT academies.

Esports – Ms. Debbane and Mr. Williams

The Esports Club offers a supportive and inclusive environment for video gamers of all skill levels to compete, socialize, and learn about the world of competitive gaming.

International Club – Mrs. Oliver

Interested in traveling abroad?? International club is the name we chose for our students that are traveling abroad with Mrs. Oliver every summer. We organize fundraising activities to help offset our trip expenses and meet to talk about international travel. Anyone interested in traveling abroad should join us.

LEAF – Mrs. Helms

LEAF is a friendly space where the young women of Badin can comfortably share and explore what it means to be a woman. Our goal is to strengthen the friendships among the women at our school and help the entire Badin community grow together. We also welcome young men who want to join in and share their experiences!

Magnified Giving – Mrs. Halverson

Magnified Giving is a service organization open to students of all grade levels. Badin’s Magnified Giving chapter works with the greater non-profit. Magnified Giving is a Midwest-based, nonprofit educational organization located in Cincinnati, Ohio. MG’s mission is to educate, inspire and engage students in philanthropy, and to touch the hearts and minds of teens, lighten the concerns of others, and magnify the impact of philanthropy.

Meet, Serve, Grow – Mrs. Halverson

Meet, Serve, Grow is open to students of all grade levels. Meet, Serve, Grow is a program that allows students to go to local nonprofits, meet the directors and hear about the issues faced, serve at the agency, and reflect on how that service calls them to grow. These experiences are offered throughout the year at various local nonprofit agencies such as The Boys and Girls Club of Hamilton, Open Door Food Pantry, Hamilton Living Waters Ministry, The Caring Closet, and Shared Harvest.

National Honor Society – Mr. Seitz & Mr. Chaney

Badin’s chapter of the National Honor Society is open to juniors and seniors who have a grade point average of at least 3.8 and meet the requirements established by NHS. Students who meet the requirements are considered for membership and if accepted are ‘tapped’ in their junior or senior year.

Our Voice – Mrs. Martinez

Our Voice seeks to create a safe space within our school community where African American students can unite with allies and promote equality in Badin High School, encouraging Black Excellence and assemblage.

Pickleball Club – Ms. Ransom & Mrs. Brinkman

Pickleball Club is designed to be an all inclusive club that introduces the fun game of Pickleball. Students will have an opportunity to learn the game and strengthen skills in this lifelong sport, while socializing and building community with one another.

ReMix – Mrs. Helms & Mrs. Enderle

ReMix is a faith-based club designed to help you grow closer in your relationships with God and others. All are welcome!

Respect Life Club – Mrs. Gertz & Ms. Noelker

This club has a focus on fostering a conversation around the many selective issues of life. This club is not limited to students who stand on any particular “side” of the issue, but is meant to inform all students of the theological, philosophical, and scientific realities. In addition to information on these issues, students will learn how to dialogue about these issues in a discussional way, rather than an argumentative way that is so often seen on social media and in the broader culture. Students will create activities to serve to create awareness and support in the Hamilton community.

Robotics Club – Mr. Schooley

Robotics is an engaging platform for students to learn about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in a hands-on way. The club allows students who are interested in robotics or want to major in this field in college, have a fun and impactful experience during their high school career. It will offer students the opportunity to compete with other kids, develop critical thinking and problem solving skills, and prepare for future careers in STEM.

Ski Club – Mr. & Mrs. Hamilton

The Ski Club at Badin is open to students of all grade levels. The purpose of the Ski Club is to teach students the basics of snow skiing, develop a love of the outdoors, and have fun with their fellow students. The group will be skiing at Perfect North Slopes.

Student Council – Mrs. Keating

Badin’s Student Council is open to students of all grade levels. Student council members are representative of the Badin student body before the school’s administration. Members serve to promote unity, cooperation, and spirit at Badin. Members work to create sincere devotion, dedication and a sense of loyalty within the students for their school. This group is responsible for the planning of many school events.

Super Smash Bros Club – Mr. Williams

The Super Smash Bros Club is geared toward creating a community of students who are interested in video gaming. Students who enjoying hanging out, video gaming, and learning new skills through gaming are welcome to join. Club members are responsible for bringing in their own supplies.

Tabletop Gaming – Mr. Seitz

The Tabletop Club is a group open to all grade levels which meets weekly to play tabletop games, such as Dungeons and Dragons. Members are able to engage in cooperative storytelling with their friends and experience grand adventures where they are a main character.

UNIDOS – Mrs. Martinez

UNIDOS is our Latino student club focused on providing students of Latino descent with a space where they can share their unique and diverse cultures within our community. Our goal is to provide a safe space for Latino students to bring their whole self to Badin. We work closely with D.I.G to further our shared mission of making Badin a welcoming and inclusive place for all students.
