EdChoice Expansion is available to ALL Badin families who live in the state of Ohio!
In July 2023, Ohio Governor DeWine signed the state budget passed by the Ohio House and Senate. In that budget, the EdChoice Expansion Program has been expanded considerably and will benefit all families to some capacity.
Students whose family’s household adjusted gross income is at or below 450% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) will be eligible for an EdChoice Expansion Scholarship. The amount of this scholarship will be $8,408 for those in high school.
Students whose family’s household adjusted gross income is at 451% or higher will receive a scholarship based on a sliding scale determined by ODE. Use the Income Calculator below to determine your EdChoice benefit.
It is important to know that Badin High School does not determine the amount of the scholarship. Families are responsible for the difference between the EdChoice Scholarship they receive and the cost of tuition and fees.
Note:
- Parents need to renew each student’s EdChoice application every school year.
