What is the Scholar Leader Academy?
This four year program is a challenging and rewarding experience that will prepare students for college and beyond. The idea behind this academically rigorous program is to cultivate the principles that Badin students can do hard things, embody grit, prioritize academics, and encompass college readiness skills, with an understanding of possible careers to pursue, post-high school. Scholar Leader Academy students take courses that are not just academically challenging but meet graduation requirements, and possibly earn college credit. In addition to being challenged academically, students have opportunities to explore career pathways, network with professionals in various fields, participate in seminars, and attend field trips, with the hope of grasping an understanding of what their post-high school pathway may look like.
