A Message from the President
Welcome to Badin High School where we strive to profoundly shape the way students Think, Achieve, Serve and Lead.
As the only Catholic High School in Butler County, we understand the important role we play in the community. We are proud to continue the values established by our founding schools – Hamilton Catholic and Notre Dame High School. Our re-affiliation with the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur connects us to our history and guides our Future.
I am confident that as you explore our website, attend a shadow day, Ramformation night, or our open house, you will see the endless opportunities that await our students at Badin.
Led by our outstanding faculty and staff, the Badin experience opens doors for our students and alumni. Through a challenging academic program, a robust retreat and service program, and a successful athletic program - Badin students have the opportunity to excel in academics, faith leadership, service, the arts, athletics and in various clubs and extracurricular activities. Students explore their interests, find their passion, and excel in areas that are individual to each student. We meet students where they are and walk with them on this journey as we empower our students to achieve their personal best, live their faith and lead the future.
Being a part of the Badin community, the Ramily, as we call it, is not just a four-year experience but one you can be, and will be, a part of for a lifetime. The connections our students make with their teachers, administrators, coaches, staff members and fellow students allow the Badin experience to carry on well after graduation.
As a proud Badin graduate, it is my honor to work alongside our board, administration, faculty and staff to make sure the Mission, Vision and Hallmarks are alive at Badin and guide our decisions as we move forward. The future of Badin is bright.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to reach out and I will be glad to meet with you.
God Bless and Go Rams,
A Message from the Principal
Welcome to Badin High School!
For over sixty years, Stephen T. Badin High School has been proud to serve thousands of students and their families from throughout southwest Ohio. Badin is honored to carry on the legacy of our founding schools — Hamilton Catholic and Notre Dame High Schools. Since opening our doors in the fall of 1966, Badin High School has provided an exemplary educational and community experience guided by the Catholic faith. We have continually worked to live out our mission to inspire all young men and women to achieve their personal best, live their faith, and lead the future.
Catholic by its very definition means universal, accepting, and all-embracing. We believe in meeting students where they are and serving all students from all backgrounds. We strive to walk alongside each of these students throughout their faith and academic journeys. We believe and strive for these things because of our Catholic faith. Badin High School exists because of our faith, and faith formation is on display at all times within our halls. Whether it is our incredible retreat program, our intentional Christian Service program, or the ways in which faith is interwoven throughout the curriculum, Badin High School students grow as servant leaders and live out our motto — Serving God, Serving Others.
These beliefs have continually guided Badin throughout our storied history even as the educational experience of students has changed. The education of today is vastly different than it was in 1966, and the administration and staff at Badin have worked tirelessly to expand course offerings and supports for students and their families. We have seen tremendous growth in our Engineering program through Project Lead the Way (PLTW). Our Business and Marketing program has also grown as students seek to learn about and gain experience in the workforce. Teachers in all of our academic departments have developed curriculum reflective of standards set forth by the state of Ohio and the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.
All of these initiatives ensure that our students have numerous opportunities after high school — whether that is college, the workforce, trade school, the military, or other pursuits. Over 95% of Badin High School graduates continue their educational pursuits in college. The curriculum and guided course of study ensures that all students have the opportunity to attend a four-year college or university if they choose to do so.
At Badin High School, we believe that we are a family. The small-school environment, the belief that there is a place for every student at Badin, and our dedicated staff all lead to growth in our students through relationships and support. Students have the opportunity to join numerous clubs and organizations, strengthen their leadership skills, and interact with a variety of students in their classes and through our intentionally designed homeroom system.
As you begin your time at Badin High School, know that we are here to help you every step of the way. Feel free to reach out at any time if you would like to discuss Badin further or have any questions. We look forward to working with your child and welcoming them into the Badin Family.
Yours in Christ,
