Students of the Month

Students of the Month overview

Congratulations to the Students of the Month! The students were selected by a committee based on recommendations by the administration, faculty and staff.

May, 2026

Our freshman selection is Adrian Flores-Ramirez — Adrian is a quiet leader who is all-in at Badin High School. He’s a member of Student Council and the Ambassador program. Among the comments about Adrian include, “Mature … Involved … Friendly … Polite … Positive.” And this, “Adrian excelled at the first boys retreat. He’s always willing to help, and he’s got a lot of positive energy.” We get three more years of that positive energy, our Freshman Student of the Month, Adrian Flores-Ramirez

Our sophomore selection is Eli Grammel — Eli is a familiar and friendly face throughout the school. He takes a lot of photos and is very active through the Badin News Network. Among the nomination thoughts about Eli were, “He gives a lot back to Badin … He’s active in Christian Service and someone who makes a difference. … Eli is a person of faith and very thoughtful.” And here’s a rarity these days … Eli has Perfect Attendance this school year. Our Sophomore Student of the Month, Eli Grammel

Our junior selection is Taylor Zoz — Taylor is well known for being an outstanding golfer, but she is much more than that. She is (quote) “an amazing student. Taylor takes initiative and works hard at all she does. She is sincere, genuine, fun and kind.” Added another faculty member, “And don’t forget that Taylor is also warm and friendly.” That’s a lot of words that add up to Taylor being someone we would all like to emulate. That’s our Junior Student of the Month, Taylor Zoz

Our senior selection is Allie Falk — Allie is a gem in the senior class, someone who has been the Class of 2026 personified. Quote, “Allie is humble and kind. She stands out with her simplicity and genuine nature.” And this, “Allie is hard working and authentically kind.” And, to sum it all up, there’s this: “Allie is joy.” That sounds like a great way to conclude four years of senior recognitions through the Student of the Month program: Joy. Our Senior Student of the Month, Allie Falk
