Badin High School will present a One Act Weekend of Suspense on Friday and Saturday, May 12 and 13, at 7 p.m. in the school’s Little Theatre.
“Sorry, Wrong Number” was originally a radio drama from 1945 – later turned into a movie. It’s now a one act play about an invalid who is trying to prevent a murder she hears over the phone.
Also on the bill: “Hallmark of Horrors” -- a comedy in one act that goes through the different scare tactics in horror movies.
“It’s another great weekend for a show,” said Sarah Cline, the Badin drama director. “We had a terrific weekend in mid-April with our musical, ‘The Drowsy Chaperone,’ and now our Theater II class has been working hard on the One Acts. I know they’re looking forward to it.”
Members of the cast include seniors Olivia Blanton and Rebecca Wade; junior Samantha Keil; sophomores Jocelyn Brenot, Tyer Hilgeman, Andrew Keck, Maguire Smith, Karina Teodoro and freshman Olivia Snyder.
Tickets are $7 and are available at the door or online HERE.
