What is the “Celebration”?

The “Celebration” is Stephen T. Badin High School’s biggest “FUNdraiser”. It is a charity auction featuring live and silent auctions, a fabulous dinner and an opportunity to enrich each of our children’s lives by raising more than $100,000 for our scholarship, athletic and fine arts programs. The “Celebration” has been critical in enabling us to make our dreams come true and affording us the opportunity to dream bigger. Last year the Celebration raised more than $100,000; working together we can increase the goal to making more than $110,000 in 2008!! With your help, we can continue to increase the profits of the “Celebration” and continue the tradition of Badin being the premiere high school for our children as well as future generations.

Information on how can you help

• Donate new items to be auctioned. If you prefer to make a cash donation, a member of our committee will use it to purchase items to be auctioned. All donations are tax deductible as stated in IRS code, and all donors will receive acknowledgment letters from Badin thanking them for their gift.
  
  
  Handcraft an item to donate- Have a talent to share? Showcase it in our Homemade Treasures section of our silent auction. Whether you paint,knit,crochet,carve, or quilt your homemade creation it would make a wonderful addition to our auction. Your are limited only to your imagination. Handmade Treasures create some of the biggest bidding wars!

  For information on Hosting Gift Gathering Party Click Here- This is a party where guests bring gifts for the “Celebration” to be placed in the auction. Anyone can host a party for any group. (Neighborhood, parish, alumni class, school organization, sports program, etc.). Need help with a theme or want some more information? • Volunteer form here An event this big needs many volunteers. Please consider volunteering to help with one of our committees. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people as we come together to plan "Celebration 2008". Student volunteers are needed the night of the auction and for set-up the days leading up to the event. Please encourage your child to volunteer!
