How can I help??

The Celebration Auction could not be sustained without the countless parents, alumni, and friends of Badin that lend a helping hand. Volunteers are needed to assist with everything from serving on a committee, to addressing invitations to setting up the days before the event! Volunteering at the Badin Celebration is a great opportunity to meet new people and make a BIG difference in the Badin Community! There is a way for everyone to help!

Here are just a few ways you can be involved:

• Be a part of the Celebration committee

• Ask companies, retail establishments, restaurants, spa/salons that you do business with to donate or become a sponsor of the event. Ask your family and friends to donate!

• Become a table captain! Ask 7 of your friends to join you at a table at the event!

• Show your creative side!! Help with decorations or set-up for the events. Dads with buddies are always welcomed and needed!!

• Address invitations to the Celebration Auction!

• Join us the night of the event. Come as a guest or a volunteer! Your presence is a welcomed gift!

Still don’t think you have the time? Here is a sample of what you can do no matter what time you can invest!

Even If you just have 30 minutes:

• Assist with a mailing

• Pick up donations close to home or work

• Make follow-up phone calls

If you have an hour:

• Write catalog copy (great for those creative minds!!)

• Make follow-up calls

• Attend a sports team’s gift gathering party

If you have two hours to volunteer

• Solicit for donations and sponsorships

• Help with auction set-up

• Address invitations

• Distribute catalogs close to home or work

• Attend or host a gift gathering party

With four hours! WOW what you can do!!

• Create a handmade treasure for the silent auction

• Help decorate the days before the event

• Help with silent auction set-up

• Work the night of the event

• Put together Chinese Raffle Baskets

• Wrap grab bag items

• Address invitations
