Last Years Trip Review

We are back from our trip form Detroit. Now its time to tell our
story.

We had to meet at Badin at 5:45 Am. At 6:00 Am we departed
from Badin and headed towards Michigan. 11:30 we arrived
at The Ford Museum. Their we had a chance to go two places.
The first place we went was Greenfield Village, which was
where they had some of the original buildings, such as the
Railroad Junction. At the railroad Junction three students
were able to turn the turn table for the Train cars.

The next place we attended was the Henry Ford Museum. Here
was the inside portion of the museum. It contained all different
sorts of cars and trains. Next to this was a huge section of the old
airplanes. A kind of history timeline was next that consisted of
the bus that Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat and the chair
that President Lincoln was shot in. The next section
consisted of old types of machines like turbines.

We left The Ford Museum at about 3:30 and Went to check-in
at our Hotel and had free time. About 6:00 we went to dinner
at a mongolian restaurant.

The following day we visited The Henry Ford and Edsel Ford
Estates. Here we found that both estates powered the house
themselves. They used the water sources around them to power
generators that powered all the electonics.

Then at 12:30 we left Detroit and came home.
