Congratulations to our latest Students of the Month. The students were selected by a committee based on recommendations by the administration, faculty and staff.

The criteria for the monthly selections include:
* Shows school spirit, both on and off campus
* Exhibits a positive attitude toward themselves and others
* Shows improvement in or has good grades and a strong work ethic
* Has good character and leadership qualities

Our freshman selection is Katy Listermann. Katy has taken the “get involved” mantra to heart with an active first year. She always has a smile on her face and she brings that positive energy to the classroom. She works hard and is a good influence on her peers. She has three great years ahead of her, too. Our sophomore selection is Ally Hughes. Ally is having a heckuva second semester because she has been nominated three consecutive months! She’s a strong student who works hard in class. She was very active and helpful in both the Kickball Tournament as well as the Ice Cream Social. She’s an Ambassador who likes being involved and refers to Badin High School as her “second home.” Ally Hughes.

Our junior selection is Zach Sander. Zach is an excellent student who has helped make the Junior State of America program an energetic organization at Badin. He is a politically aware individual who is well versed in what is going on in the world around him. He went to DECA Nationals and is set to be a difference-maker in the Class of 2011. Zach Sander.

Our senior selection is Maggie Evers. Maggie had a great four years at Badin. Her boisterous laugh lit up the hallways and put the B in Badin. She did a terrific job with Service Learning and is set to be a Kairos leader this month. She received the annual Patrick Connelly Scholarship, and will attend Miami University in the fall. She exemplifies Ram pride. Maggie Evers.
