Congratulations to our latest Students of the Month. The students were selected by a committee based on recommendations by the administration, faculty and staff.

The criteria for the monthly selections include:
* Shows school spirit, both on and off campus
* Exhibits a positive attitude toward themselves and others
* Shows improvement in or has good grades and a strong work ethic
* Has good character and leadership qualities

Our freshman selection is Jordan Marburger. Jordan is a hard worker in class and shows strong commitment to his studies. He is here this year from Florida and has adapted very well to the Badin community. He sold more than $900 tickets in our annual Tuition Raffle and obviously had a huge impact on the success of that event.

Our sophomore selection is Mallory Stempfley. Mallory always has a smile on her face and is a very positive representative of the Badin family. She is a leader in the classroom and is the first to volunteer to help when something needs to be done. She plays volleyball, is a gymnast and an Ambassador as well. She’s a winner at Badin.

Our junior selection is Rachel Flum. Those of you who will be out of uniform based on your assistance to Haiti have Rachel to thank. She’s familiar with the St. Joseph Home for Boys there, which was completely destroyed in the earthquake, and took the initiative to handle the legwork and logistics for that fundraiser herself. She’s a well-spoken and caring individual.

Our senior selection is Joe Kulifay. Joe Kulifay has been a great presence at Badin High School throughout his career here. He has a lot of imagination, a drive to excel, a pleasant and respectful personality, and can be counted on to pitch in whenever needed. He’s an outstanding student, an Ambassador, a soccer player and someone who has clearly left a positive imprint on Ramland.
