Mr. Merz's Biography

Mr. Merz attended Thomas More College where he earned a BA in Math and Physics. He then attended the University of Cincinnati where he earned a Master of Science degree in Statistics and later an Master of Business Administration. He spent about 20 years working in Marketing and Economics in the Retailing and Paper Industries. During this time he taught part time at various colleges. He received his teaching certificate in 1993 and taught at Purcell Marian before coming to Badin High School. His wife Jean is the Director of Education at Shriner's Hospital. They have been married 24 years and have a daughter Cheryl and a son Todd.
