Mrs. Palmer

Mrs. Palmer graduated from Miami University in 1985 with a Studio BFA. She returned to Miami for a Master of Arts in Art Education and graduated in 1992. Before coming to Badin she taught at St. Julie Billiart.

Mrs. Palmer teaches Studio I and II, Ceramics, 2D and 3D Design, Graphics, and Photography. She is co-moderator of the National Honor Society and participates in Kairos and Junior Retreat. Mrs. Palmer was also the faculty advisor for the Badin yearbook from 2004-2006.

As a practicing artist, her favorite processes are drawing, collage, and photography. Her favorite artists include Georgia O’Keeffe, Ansel Adams, Vincent van Gogh, Andy Goldsworthy, and Jenny Holzer.

Mrs. Palmer is married to U.S. letter-carrier, John, and has three daughters, two of whom are Badin graduates. She also has a habit of collecting former students as life-long friends and wants to retire to Prescott, AZ.
