Catham Club
The Catham Club was founded in 1944 by Hamilton Catholic High School. The primary objective is to provide financial support to all inter-scholastic athletic programs at Badin High School. The money raised by the Catham Club is used to fund purchases such as team uniforms, equipment and supplies.
The Catham Club is comprised of Badin's Athletic Director, four officers, a team representative from each sport and any other interested persons. All parents of athletes are automatically members. The meetings are the second Monday of each month at 7:30 PM and all are welcome.
The Catham Club's annual budget is approximately $65,000 supporting 18 boys and girls sports teams. The income is raised from four major fund-raiser: the Draw Down, the Badin Sports Stag, the Badin Celebration, the Spirit Shop sales, and the Athletic Program Ads.
The athletic participation fee, collected by the school, pay's for coaches' salaries, referee and umpire fees, coaches' clinics and other various sports expenses. This fee is not included in the Catham Club budget.
